Terms of Service

Effective Date: November 2025

Welcome to U.S. Tax Recovery Inc. (“U.S. Tax Recovery,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website USTaxRecovery.com, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Services

U.S. Tax Recovery Inc. is a Canadian-based IRS Certified Acceptance Agent (CAA) that helps non-U.S. residents recover U.S. casino withholding taxes and apply for Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs). We are not a law firm and do not provide legal or tax advice. Our role is to assist clients in accurately preparing and submitting required IRS documentation.

2. No Refund – No Fee Policy

You will not pay any service fees until your refund is successfully issued by the IRS. Once the IRS releases your refund, our standard service fee will be deducted or invoiced as agreed upon before filing.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate and complete documentation, such as Form 1042-S, proof of winnings, and valid identification. Clients must also respond promptly to requests for additional information and notify us of any changes in contact details during the process. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may delay or prevent the refund process.

4. Processing Time

Refunds are issued directly by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Processing times typically range from 4 to 6 months but may vary depending on IRS workload or verification requirements. U.S. Tax Recovery is not responsible for delays caused by the IRS or other government agencies.

5. Confidentiality

We handle all client information with strict confidentiality. Personal and financial information will never be sold or disclosed to third parties except as required by law or when necessary to complete your IRS filing.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take every effort to ensure accuracy, U.S. Tax Recovery Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from IRS processing delays, errors in information provided by clients, or system or communication issues beyond our control.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and applicable U.S. federal tax regulations.

8. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The revised version will always include the latest effective date.
